Subject: Administrative Fee Imposed by the Republic of Panama for each Statutory Certificate issued by these Organizations |

The Republic of Panama has instituted a requirement of US$ 50.00 fee for each Statutory or Technical Certificate issued on behalf of Panama by the authorized Class Societies and other Recognized Organizations.
The fee should be considered part of the total cost already charged by these organizations for the performance of their services.
This charge by the Administration will help to defray the administrative and operational costs involved in the processing of the certificates or their copies by this office.
Class Societies and other Recognized Organizations are to make quarterly payments for the previous quarter to the New York Office of the Directorate of Consular and Maritime Affairs in the beginning of January, April, July and October of each year.
Payments can be made by a bank draft, an international money order or a bank transfer to the order of the Directorate of Consular and Maritime Affairs.
