The Panama Merchant Marine always interested in providing our users with a service of excellence, achieves the ISO 9001:2000 certification under the highest standards of quality.

 

 

The aforementioned accomplishment, took place on September 2008, through the certifying entity Lloyd Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), thus consolidating our Quality System with the recertification audit under the ISO 9001:2008 on October 2015, as well as extending the scope of the system to the international offices of SEGUMAR New York, Piraeus–Greece, Tokyo–Japan, Singapore and South Korea all of which is achieved under the supervision and arduous teamwork of the Quality System Department, in charge of training, documenting and evaluating the system performance.

 

 

The scope of the quality system covers the main headquarter in Panama, the Permanent Mission of Panama to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in London, United Kingdom and the international offices of SEGUMAR New York, Piraeus–Greece, Tokyo–Japan, Singapore and South Korea.

 

 

The efficient processes behind the quality system and permanently focusing on a sustained improvement, has granted the Panama Merchant Marine with a recognized leading position since 1993, always ready to provide our users with a service of excellence.

 

 

This achievement confirms the commitment of the Panamanian people to the world, having as our main goal to continue being the leader in vessels registration worldwide.
